Australian Rules Football fans can rejoice! AFL Season 2012 has landing in the Windows Phone Marketplace to keep you up to date on the current 2012 season. The Windows Phone sports app is nicely laid out and looks good. Any Aussie Rules football fan should like what they see.

The developer said in a thread over on Whirlpool.
That the NRL app will be coming soon.

hi (developer here) -
Yes that's correct the NRL app (NRL Season 2012) is due in next couple of weeks (which will use same new sports engine) - just finalizing now and hopefully will be in for certification sometime during the week.
These other two apps were released first because the respective seasons are starting earlier (ie. AFL NAB cup next sat and SRugby in 2 weeks) - however NRL doesn't start until March 2nd(?).
oh - and forgot to mention - this app is just for Collingwood supporters (although I suspect I may have accidentally added support for other clubs too).. 8-)... GO PIES!
