Alltel Treo Pro now on sale for $199.99

Alltel's Treo Pro has gone on sale a day before we expected, making it the first CDMA Treo Pro for sale in the United States. (Ya hear that, Sprint? OK. You'll have yours out March 15.)

It retails for $519.99 but is knocked down to $199.99 after online discount and mail-in rebate, along with the usual contract stuff.

Go check it out here.

Yuck, $125 mail-in rebates, so $325 out-the-door. Gross. Hopefully Best Buy will have a good deal on this phone once it launches for Sprint - the Touch Pro was $199 out-the-door at BB for a while (that's where I got mine).

Interesting, I thought Sprint had a deal with Palm for quite some time to get all their devices exclusively for their usual 3 month window? I guess I can only hope this means Verizon may have a chance to offer this phone, but knowing them they'll pass on things as they always do.
