Here’s some eco-friendly news if you’re a New Yorker or plan on visiting New York City in the near future. AT&T is rolling out charging stations that aren’t connected to the electricity grid. Instead those stations will be powered by our local star – the Sun.

Feed Me is a fantastic RSS Reader for our Windows Phones. But recently the app ran into a few technical difficulties with the NewsBlur feed.

As we understand it, NewsBlur changed its API which has in turn caused a few headaches. The developer has let us know they are feverishly working on an update that will right the ship. They are hoping to have a fix in place by the end of the week.

In an interview with the Financial Times, Richard Yu, chairman of Huawei's consumer business group, said that the company would be open to buying Nokia to boost their smartphone sales, especially in non-Asian markets where the Chinese OEM is still facing some challenges.

Cnet interprets some of Yu's comments as suggesting that if Huawei were to buy Nokia, Windows Phone itself may be up for reconsideration. The reason is price: Windows Phone still has a license fee, whereas Android is "free". We're not confident that Huawei would do such a thing, even if they were to buy Nokia, but it's clear they don't have much faith in the Microsoft OS either.

Liquid Daffodil should be a name many of you know by now. They’re one of the more pervasive and popular developers for Windows Phone, having made such unique apps as glƏƏk!, Add to Contacts, flyby! and JamTiles, to name just a few.

When a developer creates so many apps and values customer feedback as much as Liquid Daffodil, sometimes the Windows Phone Store just doesn’t cut it, hence the creation of the forthcoming ✿+☮=❥. By the way, we can just call that app ‘Liquify’, which is the name users can search for in the Store (or by the developers name, of course).

Yesterday we previewed Bethesda’s The Evil Within, a gruesomely atmospheric survival horror game coming to Xbox One and Xbox 360 in 2014. As it turns out, publishing giant Bethesda has two more titles in store for the Xbox One. In the fourth quarter of this year they’ll release Wolfenstein: The New Order for both the One and Xbox 360. Then in spring 2014 the eagerly anticipated The Elder Scrolls Online comes along.

We saw and played both games at E3 2013 last week. I can safely say that fans of each series will NOT be disappointed with either installment. Read on for previews and the latest trailers!

After we've seen the RM-877 (possibly the highly anticipated EOS) pass through FCC, the RM-941 has since followed through. The Nokia device passed through with support for AT&T's GSM 850 and 1900 bands and will feature a WVGA display. While we're not seeing LTE capabilities in the US, such frequencies are believed to be included outside these two regions. 

Taptitude is a game of games, if you will. The title sports numerous mini-games that each offer hours of entertainment. Now the team has published a rather in-depth report that details the last two years of supporting Windows Phone and where there are still areas of improvement.

Our colleagues over at Android Central are at today's Huawei event in London. Why are we bringing you this news on our website? Well, there's the slim chance we could well see new Windows Phone hardware from the company. Remember the Ascend W2 that has appeared numerous times? Huawei has already teased a mysterious smartphone on social networks, so it wouldn't be such a far-fetched idea that the handset maker could have one with them today.

If there’s one thing you can say about Windows Phone developers—they know the community and what they want. After our post last night, Rudy Huyn, the man behind the upcoming 6Sec app for Vine on Windows Phone, seems to have set him into full gear. A big update was posted today for his private beta users and it should set Windows Phone apart from the competition.

First up, we have the big one: full Lens integration. That’s right, when this app goes live in the Store (expected in a few weeks), the app will come with direct Windows Phone 8 camera support, meaning users can quickly launch their camera and hop into 6Sec to directly record their Vine.

Okay folks, it’s been awhile since we gave away a brand new Windows Phone. So today we’re announcing a US-only contest (sorry!) with a chance to win a brand new, Nokia Lumia 928 for the Verizon network.

How to win? It’s simple…

The FCC recently approved the Nokia RM-877 that is compatible with AT&T's LTE bands, pentaband HSPA+/WCDMA and quad-band GSM/Edge. The FCC documents also not the device has NFC, Bluetooth and dual-band Wi-Fi.

Beyond that, there's not much more to go on but there is a strong possibility that this is the EOS Windows Phone aka 'Elvis' for AT&T. Nokia has requested all the juicy documents that have device photos, schematics, the user manual and device specifications to remain private.  So for now, it's pure speculation that the RM-877 and the EOS are one in the same.
