Files and Folders Pro is a fully functional file manager for Windows Phone 8.1. From copying, moving, renaming, deleting and performing other routine actions with files and folders, this Windows Phone app should help sort things out.

The app pulls in a 4 Star rating in the Windows Phone Store and has a certain level of appeal. To help bolster that appeal, Files and Folders Pro is this week's myAppFree deal.

Today, Microsoft announced the next chapter in their OS story with Windows 10 or better known as one OS to rule them all. The new operating system, which won't officially debut until mid-2015 is meant for everything from a phone to a tablet to PC to even the Xbox One. It is truly a unifying, singular user experience as even the app Store is a one-stop for all devices.

Over the last year or so WPCentral aka Windows Phone Central has been undergoing many behind the scene changes, including more staff writers and an expansion of our coverage from Windows Phone to everything Microsoft. In hindsight, we knew where Microsoft was going with their Phone and desktop OS, so the slow ramp up made sense to us, though perhaps not always to our readership.

The Lumia 530 is being position as one of the most affordable Windows Phones available, despite growing completion from the likes of BLU and others. T-Mobile announced back in July that it would be stocking the ultra-budget phone, although no pricing or release date was given with only a generic "later this year" promise.

Windows Phone Central now expects the phone to launch in mid-October at a $69 off-contract price.

6tag, which is arguably the more-real Instagram client for Windows Phones versus the official one, just picked up a nice little update today. Instead of the usual bug fixes though, this one delivers some new features to help tweak the user-experience even more, bringing some unique capabilities to your Windows Phone.

Version 3.4 of 6tag is now live in the Store and two of the new features are location-based, letting users gain more control over their postings. Let's take a look at the changelog.

Microsoft has published a new documentary on Xbox One looking into the world of Interactive Gateway, a UK-based games studio behind the title Spectra. Louis Deane and his colleagues talk about how the startup joined the Microsoft Ventures accelerator and how the game itself came to be. If you're not familiar with Spectra, it's a retro arcade-style racing game, which makes good use of an awesome soundtrack to produce a procedurally generated experience.
