Next month will be a landmark time for horror games. Sega and the Creative Assembly have Alien: Isolation, a game inspired by the first Alien film, on the way on October 7. Just one week later, Bethesda and Tango Software will unleashed The Evil Within, the long-awaited return to horror from Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami. Both games are due out on Xbox One and 360, so our last-gen brothers need not miss out on the scares.
With both games drawing near, the publishers are keeping them in the spotlight with new information and trailers. Alien: Isolation will be getting post-launch DLC for six months in the form of challenging new Survivor mode missions, we recently found out. As for The Evil Within, I recently had the opportunity to play the game and experience its disturbing atmosphere. Continue reading for detailed impressions and a look at both games' new trailers!

The Lumia 1520, nearly ten months after release, is still wooing fans around the world. Partially due to its forward-thinking hardware and its unapologetic size, owners of the six-inch phablet tend to be very proud of the gargantuan Windows Phone.
Although full of pride, many Lumia 1520 users also have a sense of humor in regards to wielding such a massive device in public. Take, for instance, the following two videos made by WPCentral Forum member nickniko, which shows some humorous benefits in owning a coveted Lumia 1520.

Usually when it comes to smartphone image leaks, it is the high-end flagships caught in a flash. A few days ago though, Celkon's new Win 400 was spied for the first time on Gizbot revealing its white or black color schemes.
If Celkon does not ring a bell, the company is yet another white-label, budget smartphone maker popular in India and other emerging markets. Back in June, the company came forward with an announcement for supporting Windows Phone, hot on the heels of fellow rival Micromax and Cherry Mobile.

Microsoft has moved across the Lumia support section for software updates to its own website. Previously available on Nokia's online portal, it makes sense for Redmond to move things across post-acquisition of the Nokia handset division. Consumers interested in finding out just when they can expect to receive future updates will now need to head to Microsoft's website, or load previous locations to only be redirected across.
Snapdeal and Intel today announced the launch of Notion Ink's 'CAIN' 2-in-1. Powered by the Intel Atom Processor Z3735D, the Windows 8.1 convertible is priced at ₹19,990 ($330), and is exclusively available on Snapdeal, India's leading online marketplace.
If the Notion Ink name doesn't ring a bell, you might remember the Bangalore-based company's ill-fated debut in 2010 with the Notion Ink Adam, a tablet that ended up becoming the most overhyped and under-delivered product with controversies and delays over production and shipping.
The next version of Microsoft's Internet Explorer web browser, IE12, could be using the internal code name "Spartan". If so, this is just the latest example of the company using a code name that has a reference to their Halo Xbox game franchise.
