AT&T's Digital Life Windows Phone app lands in the Store

AT&T Digital Life

AT&T announced their Digital Life Home Security and Automation service back in January and over the weekend, they released their Windows Phone companion app, AT&T Digital Life.

The Digital Life Home Security and Automation service allows customers to remotely manage things such as your home thermostat, lock doors, turn on security systems, turn on lights, and monitor security cameras. The service is slowly rolling out to various markets with the service being available in 58 markets by the end of 2013.

The Digital Life Windows Phone app allows you to manage your Digital Life Home Security and Automation services from your Windows Phone. So if you need to dial up the thermostat on your way home or check and make sure the last one out locked the front door, you can check it while on the go.

AT&T Digital Life

AT&T did not mention any cost with the Digital Life service and it is likely dependent on the service package you choose, installation costs, etc. You can sign up to be notified when Digital Life Home Security and Automation is available in your area by visiting this AT&T Website.

The key downside to the app is that unless you have a Digital Life account, you won't make it past the sign in screen. You can find the AT&T Digital Life app here in the Windows Phone Store from your AT&T Windows Phone. The app may not be listed in the AT&T Featured section of your Windows Phone Store app due to the market limitation of the service.

Thanks, Brian, for the tip!

WP needs that AT&T app iPhone has where you can mark on a map where the service is bad.

It's the AT&T Mark the Spot app. It will let you pinpoint and notify the AT&T Network Engineering Team of any dead spots, dropped calls, areas with poor reception, areas where there is poor speed data connection or can't connect to data services. It's available for iPhone and Android, but not BlackBerry and Windows Phone.

Its really sad that this app exists, but that the uverse app was pulled

Will have to check this service out.

I can't wait until this launches. I have been on the waiting list for a couple of months now. I have priced so many different competitors with people coming to my house its weird. One of the at&t stores has a display of this in store and I was able to play around with it. It seems like its competitive and I'm all about being able to unlock my doors from anywhere as my SO always locks herself out.

They probably need to get the pricing out there and someone has already reviewed it I wonder if they work for At&t

This app has been in the store for a few months now, just not in the AT&T Collection.

Where's the data sense app? Anyone have any idea when that is coming out?
