Bunch of new Mango Windows Phones show up on WP Bench

Guess what folks? It's silly season. And Windows Phone Mango is so close.

The image you see to the right is from the excellent app WP Bench (Zune link) and it lists no less than 8 devices that are presumably new Mango phones (or variations) that are in people's hands, evidently being tested against each other. The relevant ones from the list:

Some of those are familiar, but the LG LS831 seems new, the Omega gets a number (C110e), the i937 from Samsung seems active, who knows what the "Na Na" and the "Nokia XXX" are. Anyways, nice to know these devices are getting into people's hands. [Note: LG C900x, Asus E600, Samsung GT-I8710, HTC PC93100, T8697 are older phones for developers or on the market already]

Big thanks to developer Robert Varga of WP Bench., for the screen shot!

Na Na could well be "Not applicable Not applicable" for manufacturer and model?

Drewidian says:

I'm glad to see another Nokia device. I'm hoping it is a high end "wow" device as the sea ray is just ok. I hope it is Verizon bound if it is with LTE since we know LTE is supported in WP7.

fwaits says:

Yeah the rumor was that Sea Ray isn't actually coming to the US but another higher end one is and that Verizon was getting it. No idea if it has any merit, but oh that would be sweet.

MarkAllett says:

I wouldn't be surprised if the guys at XDA-developers were more than capable of cooking up roms with made up device names, which they can then run WPBench on.. to get the above results. Could be funny actually, start some rumours. I doubt anyone would fall for an "Apple Windows Phone 7", entry though!

Nana = Seven In Japanese..

fpostrow says:

No it doesn't.

andreujuanc says:

Yes it is. The kon reading for Seven is Nana. And the On reading is shichi. U gotta be sure when u correct someone. Or if u are sure it is not nana, u have link some website to give u support in what u are saying. Same thing happens with: Zero/rei, s hi / yon and ku/kyuu.Regards
