We're taking a look at the $179 dual-SIM Windows Phone from BLU!

BLU is starting to make waves here in the Americas with their Win line of Windows Phones. Both the Win JR and Win HD offer customers yet another viable option for jumping on to Microsoft's growing platform while on a budget.

Previously, we showed you the Win JR, an $89 Windows Phone that left us impressed. Today, it is the Win HD, its bigger and much cooler looking sibling. Running for $179 on Amazon and Microsoft Stores (soon), the Win HD is one lovely looking Windows Phone.

One of Microsoft's newest Windows Phone 8.1 devices, the Lumia 735, should slowly be available for many European residents over the next few weeks. Now it looks like the heavy promotion for the smartphone has begun with a new TV commercial made for Italy that has some strange visuals to promote its five megapixel "selfie" front facing camera.

Windows Phone 8.1 has been released, at least in its Developer Preview form, for several months now, but we are still learning about what Microsoft has put into the OS. Late on Friday, the company offered some information on the HTML5 video and audio changes and improvements it has made for the version of Internet Explorer 11 that was made for Windows Phone 8.1.

Microsoft has today announced the Lumia 730 for Vietnam at an event in Ho Chi Minh City. The Lumia 730 making its way to consumers in the region is - of course - configured for dual-SIM support, perfect for those with needs requiring more than a single phone number to be attached to a mobile device. Pricing for the Windows Phone will set purchasers back by 5 million Vietnamese Dong (about $240) and the Lumia 730 will be available from October 1st.

If you ask an Apple store employee for the difference between an iPhone 6 Plus and an iPhone 6, you can expect to hear that the 6 Plus has a bigger screen, but there's one more thing they'll most likely mention. The iPhone 6 Plus a better camera. That's because Apple has finally included Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) in an iPhone. Lumia cameras had this feature for a while now.

I was curious how Apple's video performance compares with the latest cameras found on the Lumia 930, Lumia Icon, and Lumia 1520. So, I went to the park and shot some videos. Watch the split screen comparison.
