Deal Alert - Zombies, Run! on sale, save five bucks

Zombies, Run! on sale

If you are on the fence about pulling the trigger on the Windows Phone game Zombies, Run! because of the cost, you're in luck. To celebrate the launch of Zombies, Run! versions 1.1 on Android and version 1.4 on iOS, the developers have dropped the price from $7.99 to $2.99 across the board.

Zombies, Run! is a unique game (or is a exercise app?) for your Windows Phone where you listen to missions during your daily runs/walks that pits you against an angry hoard of zombies. As the mission progresses you earn or collect supplies. After your run, you use the supplies at your your base township. The town in turn uses the supplies to support growth and as your town grows, more missions become available.

The downside of this deal is that it ends tonight. So if you've been interested in Zombies, Run! and are looking for a heck of a deal, now's your chance. You can find Zombies, Run! here at the Windows Phone Marketplace. There is a trial version available and after today, the full price will return to $7.99.

Thanks, Jonathan, for the tip!

Argh! I wish Windows Phone accepted Microsoft points. I would so buy this. But lots of people don't want to tie their credit card to devices. Apple's got iTunes cards and Google Play even has pre-paid cards. WinPhone needs to accept MS points just like Xbox, Zune, and Games for Windows LIVE do.

Just buy a prepaid/gift credit card. No credit checks, no ongoing fees, & you can use it in shops or online like a normal credit card. Some you can top up, some you can't.

The problem with those prepaid credit cards is they charge a monthly fee, typically $5 a month, unless you keep a huge balance on the card. I don't like throwing money away.

Anyone know if I could use my bicycle instead of running?

schlubadub says:

I was wondering that too. I love cycling, but can't stand running. You can use it while walking, but I prefer to cycle.

I suppose this app is focused on people who doesn't like sports and stuff. On the other side, most people who don't do sport will not make an effort because of this app (I really wish they did).

I had tried the trial a little bit. The sale price convinced me to buy!

The devs have now dropped support for Windows Phone.... :( Would still recommend, if they kept the price low.
