Store Deals updated, introduces ability to share offers with friends
Store Deals, the name almost sounds familiar, right? It should do as the app was previously branded as Marketplace Deals. The Windows Phone app offers consumers a convenient way to view all the latest offers on the store. Xbox Live games, new deals, top rated apps and other filters are available.
Store Deals has recently been bumped to a new version, but what's available to users in the latest release?
We've received the changelog from the developer for version 1.1:
- Live Tile now displays a counter of new deals since last launched
- Ability to share deals via social networks or email
- Hide / show expired deals from listing
As well as the above, minor fixes have been applied. It's a superb solution for those deal hunters who would like to remain up-to-date with all the latest pricing alterations on the store. The added social capabilities will help spread the word of deals for Windows Phone apps across social networks - great for both developers and Microsoft.
You can download Store Deals from the Windows Phone Store. The cost is free and it will run on Windows Phone 7.x and Windows Phone 8.

No text share? Odd. Don't like the name change as I'm on 7.8, liked it before as it was right next to the marketplace, oh well, I'll get used to that eventually.

I didn't know about this app. Honestly, I don't go out app hunting. I get all my app reviews and suggestions from WP Central. Narrow, perhaps, but it works for me so far.

Your not alone. Though, I guess I buy into the idea of there being an app for everything. But I don't go searching for apps. I usually get my recommendations from WP Central as well.
