What did I miss
The SilentMajority says:
Clicking on the video brings up a notification that I need to search for an app to watch it. Videos use to play automatically before. Is this a bug or something new?
Mr. Brown says:
The video played just fine for me on my Lumia 920.
JayTBennett says:
Means that my little YouTube workaround didn't work for some reason so the app has fallen back on using Microsoft's YouTube app.
TonyDedrick says:
I have this issue with some videos. They will automatically play one day. The next, it's asking to install an app
ogracia says:
No Jay it only means that he doesn't have the YouTube App, he needs to intall it , the same happened to me installed the app and the video works
JayTBennett says:
I promise you my response is correct :) When the "HD" button works correctly (it's a sort of workaround so it's by no means a guarantee), the app is able to retrieve a direct video stream and play it back through the inbuilt media controls rather than diving out to the YouTube app. However as the code to find that stream is very (for want of a better word) hacky, I put in a catch-all to make sure that if anything fails you'll still see the video through the guaranteed YouTube app.
ogracia says:
Lol Jay I didn't mean you was wrong but I thought he did the same as me lol once the YouTube app was installed it works perfectly
weepatc says:
That's correct. Video plays fine if you have installed YouTube app.
keol says:

I find the comments about the sunsetting of Google Reader a little comical. RSS as a standard... the beauty of google reader was the repository so that you had one place to collect and organize your feeds and then use apps or a browser instead of trying to keep all of your stand alone collections synched. Perfect example... NextGen Reader, the source of my feeds are centralized in Google Reader so whether I am using the phone or win8 version of the app I am reading the same source and if I am on a win7 machine I access google reader via browser. As for RSS... it's the only thing that drives me to view WPCentral content.

So there's been a leak of a desktop Windows Blue build (9364). Were people expecting to see more new features? The additions to the Metro side are nice but I think it's a shame the desktop seems to have been completely neglected. It seemed more like a "Windows 8 SP2" to me.

Thank you Bennett for mentioning my shout out. I been having a horrible day and hearing me mentioned in the podcast just helped me break the negative spiral I'm in and basically made me very happy. Thank you .
