Camera Preset+ for Windows Phone 8 updated, EXIF reader and more added

Camera Preset +

Camera Preset + is a nifty Windows Phone 8 photography app that lets you build preset camera settings for quick and easy access. The app was recently updated to version 1.2 that adds a few features and deals with some minor bugs.

Camera Preset + now has an alternative skin for the on-screen controls, a deep zoom feature in full resolution, and you can view the EXIF information from photos captured with Camera Preset +.

Camera Preset + EXIF Screen and Tutorial

EXIF (short for Exchangeable Image File) Information contains all the photo information for that particular photo. It ranges from the make/model of the camera to exposure settings.  It's a nice feature to allow you to check all the particulars of your photographs.

Another change with version 1.2 is that the tutorials are always available. So if you need a little help figuring things out, all you need to do is tap the three-dot menu and choose the "How To" link.

Camera Preset + skins

The new skin is more or less involves circular tiles as oppose to the square ones on the original.  Either option works as well as the other but it is nice that you get a choice.  In just tinkering with the updated version of Camera Preset + for a short time, the updated version is a nice improvement for this Windows Phone 8 app.

There is a trial version available for Camera Preset + with the full version running $1.49. You can find it all here in the Windows Phone Store.

This sounds like a great idea. The 920 has a few things you can tinker with, I like the idea of twiddling. Still not managed consistent decent photographs.

The picture in the EXIF data was taken on 4/20

Lumia needs a lot of camera help.
