As promised Tuesday, Microsoft has released the Windows 10 Technical Preview for Enterprise, allowing PC enthusiasts to try out a very early version of the company's next OS release.

Microsoft is making the Technical Preview available through their Windows Insider Program, which lets users download and try the new OS prior to its release sometime in mid-2015.

You know, the Xbox One controller is pretty great. It features a much superior d-pad to that of the Xbox 360's, and unparalleled rumble in the trigger buttons to boot. A company called Console Tuner is on the case. They have engineered a USB peripheral called the Titan One that lets you use Playstation 4 controllers with the Xbox One, and vice versa. In fact, you can even use Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and pretty much any USB controller on your modern consoles. You have to admit, that sounds like an especially useful accessory.

Sprint has announced that, starting today, they are offering "double the data" on high-end data plans compared to AT&T and Verizon. Sprint's 32GB, 40GB, and 60GB Family Share Pack plans will now offer 60GB, 80GB, and 100GB at no extra cost. Customers must sign up by October 31 in order to take advantage of the offer. Microsoft adds 50 new partners after dropping Windows licensing fee

Terry Myerson revealed during the launch of Windows 10 yesterday that 50 additional companies have signed on to make Windows-based devices after Microsoft removed licensing fee for the platform. Earlier this year, the software maker announced that it would be giving licensing Windows for free to OEMs building devices with screen sizes under nine inches.
