Rawer is an image editor for your Windows Phone. While many will shrug their shoulders and mutter, "Ugh, another photo editor!?" what sets this image editor apart from other editors is its ability to open and edit RAW image files.

Rawer will not only open and edit RAW (DNG) images captured by a Lumia 1020, 1520, 930 or Icon but the app can also open RAW files from several DSLR cameras. The app has OneDrive support and has the ability to check the image EXIF information.

Asphalt Overdrive from Gameloft is coming Thursday

177

During E3 this year, Gameloft announced the latest game in the Asphalt series of racers. Surprisingly, the next Asphalt won't be Asphalt 9. Instead, the series is spinning off in a new direction with Asphalt Overdrive. Instead of a serious arcade-style racer, the new Asphalt will be an endless racer – sort of like Gameloft's recently released Spider-Man Unlimited or Sega's Crazy Taxi City Rush.

Players who are wondering how well Asphalt works as an endless racer plays won't have to wait long to find out. Today Gameloft announced that Asphalt: Overdrive will be coming to Android, iOS, Windows Phone, and Windows 8 this Thursday, September 25! The publisher also released a new trailer to celebrate the news. Keep reading for both the trailer and gameplay details.

Eggies review – Raise a virtual pet and play minigames for free on Windows Phone

10

Earlier this year, Czech developer Alda Games (no relation to Alan Alda) released a couple of kid-friendly games for free on Windows Phone: Save the Snail and World of Cheese. Eggies is a virtual pet simulator, sort of like Tamagotchi. It also offers nine minigames to play, some of which are pretty fun. Like Alda's previous games, Eggies is free and supported by ads. This one does have some in-app purchases, but they're totally optional and unobtrusive. It also works on 512 MB RAM devices – always a good thing for kids games.
