Copy & Paste coming to Windows Phone 7 in Early 2011

In case you missed it during out Windows Phone 7 Launch Liveblog, Microsoft just announced that they will be bringing Copy and Paste to Windows Phone 7 in 'early 2011.'

Microsoft is doing updates right with Windows Phone 7 - something they never could quite get moving properly with previous versions. By 'right' we mean that Microsoft will be pushing the updates out directly (via a mix of OTA for small things and tethered desktop updates via the Zune sync client) and they say that all phones purchased this holiday season will be receiving the the update for copy/paste.

Keep it locked to wpcentral for news, hands-on, and plenty more from the Windows Phone 7 Launch!

Yayy. OTA updates will undoubtedly be great for WP7.

How sad that these phones are launching without the ability to copy and paste. That's just silly.
