Deal Alert: Save big with the Memorial Weekend Sale at the Microsoft Store

Memoridal Day Clearance

This weekend we’ll be seeing some cool stuff on sale. If you were quick you grabbed a Nokia wireless charger for $25 last night. Don’t worry if you missed that, there’s plenty more to save on. The Microsoft Store is getting in the clearance mindset and has a handful of gadgets and gizmos for sale. Let’s check out some of the good ones.

If you wanted to save $200 while still spending some big bucks you’ll want to look at the deal on the Dell XPS One 27 All-in-One. This is a machine I’ve had my eyes on for quiet sometime. Once you get past the 27-inch display with a drool inducing 2560x1440 resolution you’ll find a machine capable of handling most of your tasks. It normally goes for $1,999 at the Microsoft Store, but you can grab it for $1,799 this weekend.

Music fans will want to check out the Nokia Purity headphones on sale. Those normally go for $199, but you’ll get them for a Benjamin this weekend at $99. We took a look at them back in December if you’re interested in our impression. Or just watch the video below.

Other than those two, you’ll find a handful of Windows 8 machines – both tablets and laptops. Some Xbox 360 games and other accessories. There’s even a Kingston Digital SDXC card on sale. It has 128GB and normally goes for $179.99, but this weekend it’s a cool $99.99. Not bad. Hit up the source for more deals from the Microsoft Store. Don’t forget the Microsoft Store has free shipping and free returns.

Any word purity pros?

Piro.Garay says:

I might have to get those headphones...

carlosrdd says:

I'm scared to get them because I had the purity in ear ones and after a month the left ear stopped working. Though I got my money back minus a restocking fee. The packaging is great too bad the product doesn't match it.

erichon99 says:

I had same experience with a bad left ear piece after one day of use.

Viipottaja says:

Oh no... Too bad. But, at least you still have hearing in your right ear! :P

Crap, I was thinking to grab battlefield 3 but, already soid out....Oh, well

I've got the Dell XPS One 27 AIO and I can confirm that it rocks the Casbah! Really nice machine, great screen and with Win8 touch a lot of fun to use.

And at that price, well worth your benjamins ;)

I didn't know they made 128 GB SD cards. Too bad my phone only supports 64 GB.

Deals are even sweeter for those who managed to get $10 coupon for Xbox sign up.

Shinyeye says:

I just called my local store, and they are price matching Staples' deal for $100 off Surface RT, for as long as Staples offers it, which my contact said was until Tomorrow (Saturday) night at closing as far as they were aware...

Jefe32 says:

The microsoft store is down atm.

Tips_y says:

Tried it just now and it's up.

Still flaky for me.  I can get in sometimes and get to the point right before I confirm the order then it times out with:

"This request has timed out. Please click here to return to Microsoft Store or refresh your browser to try again"

Calling customer service wasn't much help at all either.  He kept asking what the order number was and I said the site timed out and I don't see what the order number is.  Frustrating.
Ah well.  I've tried off and on for the last hour or so.. Just going to order the Purity Headphones from Amazon since they are the same price ($99) and call it a night.  I'll use that $10 promo code on some other purchase when they get the store working again.

Darn you WPCentral.  You just cost me $1,500...by making me fester over that AIO...but for that I got the highest end Dell 27" AIO they offer.  Scratch and dent through the Dell outlet...all the bells and whistles of the $2,500 one.  Here's to hoping for minor scratches and dents!
