The regular twitter app works but third party offerings give you access to more features the Official twitter app doesn't.

The official twitter app for me was really slow loading and would always reach a rate limit for some reason. I tried rowi lite (another twitter app) and I think mehdoh. Gleek has been the best of them all. I got it free awhile ago.

I prefer Mehdoh, then rowi. Gleek is nice but rowi is faster and Mehdoh has more features and a cleaner layout. The only thing missing on Mehdoh is inline images.
People who haven't tried Gleek, it's a good time to take advatange of this deal. If at the end you like, you got it for free.
