On-demand Webcast now available for the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Event

Microsoft Surface Pro 3

Just in case you missed it, Microsoft announced the Surface Pro 3 this morning at a press event that was broadcast live. If you missed the live broadcast, the on-demand webcast is now available for viewing at your leisure.

The hour-long presentation covers the new features and design of the Surface Pro 3. Panos Panay, Microsoft's Corporate Vice President for Surface Computing, did a really nice job walking everyone through the concept Microsoft was working towards and the changes brought about with the latest Surface Pro model.

Expect the Surface Pro 3 to be available for pre-order in just over nine hours with shipping expected by August 31, 2014. Pricing starts at $799 for the 64GB Core i3 model.

You can catch the full presentation at the link below.

You'll be able to get an i5 model after June 20th, but as you know, the i3 and i7 models don't come out until August...

The first row of journalists all brought their Macbooks to the event. Kind of a sad statement. Wished they all brought a surface pro 2.

blackprince says:

Did you see the one guy holding up his Acer to show some loyalty to MSFT?

majohnny says:

Can someone tell me which article he is referring to at around 29 minutes?

I hope that I'm still in time to get an opportunity to win the SP3, from what I read, it functions very well and has a sleek design which leaves many desiring this piece of hardware brilliance.

ATKB82 says:

Hopefully, the SP3 will fall into my lap, then i'd have something ready for Christmas :)

ATKB82 says:

Looking at the active tiles and the mobile capability to have access to your world in the touch of your fingers, the SP3 will provide one with better management of their daily lives.
