We don’t have an official Frontback application on Windows Phone, but we do have DualShot. We gave you a sneak preview of the app back in late September and covered its launch to the Windows Phone Store shortly after that. Fast forward 20 days and the app picked up over 100,000 downloads. DualShot now has an update in the Store, so let’s jump in and see what’s new with the app.
First time hearing of DualShot? It’s an app that lets you add yourself to an image. You share both sides of the camera with your friends and family. Head to the Windows Phone Store and you’ll see DualShot hanging out at version 188.8.131.52. Here’s what’s new in the latest version:
- Swap photos vertically
- Support phones without a front face camera. We decided to bring the fun to the Lumia 520/521.
- The Spanish language is added. DualShot supports English, French, Vietnamese, Italian, Hungarian and German.
The initial launch of DualShot required users to own a Windows Phone with a front facing camera. Now folks with devices like the Lumia 520 can download and use DualShot. Spanish was also added as a language. Me gusta!
The developers have DualShot as a free app in the Windows Phone Store. If you like it you can donate them $0.99 through the settings page in the app.
