Have you been loving Titanfall on the Xbox One, PC or Xbox 360? We have and that’s why we’re pretty excited to check out The Final Hours of Titanfall for Windows 8. Unless you’re immersed in video game culture, you might not be too familiar with The Final Hours series. It comes from videogame journalist Geoff Keighley, in it he chronicles the development of many popular games. The Final Hours of Titanfall offers an in-depth and behind-the-scenes look at the creation of this generation’s most popular first-person shooter.
Think of this as part app and part interactive book. Here’s what you get with The Final House of Titanfall on Windows:
- Never-before-seen videos from early development versions of Titanfall.
- Exclusive concept art from the first days of Respawn, detailing many of the abandoned concepts the team explored.
- New details on how the gameplay of Titanfall changed and evolved during development.
- Birth of a Titan: Find out how the art team "kitbashed" old model parts to create the 24-foot giant.
All of this is part of the 25,000 word longform app from Geoff Keighley, which took over 4 years to make. We’ve just installed and can’t wait to read this on our Surface 2 between Titanfall matches later tonight.
