Finger Party, a twister styled Windows Phone game for your digits

Finger Party

Finger Party is a Windows Phone game that sounds a little too easy but turns out to be a rather challenging game. Finger Party will test your concentration and dexterity as very few games can.

The game concept reminds me a lot of a solo version of Twister just the targets are moving and you only have to twist your fingers. Finger Party can get a little frustrating but it is definitely one Windows Phone game worth trying.

The main menu for Finger Party has options to jump into to the game, view the gaming options, select a player profile, view the credits and rate the app. Settings cover turning on or off the sound/music/vibration features.

Finger Party Menus

Kudos to the developer for adding player profiles. You can set up to three profiles which allows a friend, kid, spouse or anyone else to play the game without screwing up your progress. It's a great feature that every game should have (okay... maybe most games).

Finger Party has ninety-six levels of play with the first few levels service as a tutorial and aren't that challenging. But tutorials are designed to teach rather than humble the player.

Game play is rather simple in that you have up to four buttons lining the bottom of the screen with matching targets drifting around the gaming area. You're job is to tap and drag the buttons on to the corresponding target and hold them there. The longer you hold the buttons on the target, the more stars you earn.

Finger Party

Again, sound simple right? The challenge comes with having to match all the buttons at the same time. Double jointed fingers aren't required but might help and there's nothing that says you can't use two hands.

Finger Party doesn't have many bells and whistle but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The gaming challenge is there and with almost a hundred levels you have plenty to keep you busy.

There is a trial version for Finger Party that lets you play the first twenty levels.  The trial version has plenty of gaming to help you decide if Finger Party is to your liking.  The full version of the game is currently running $1.49 and you can find it here in the Windows Phone Store. It is available for both Windows Phone 8 and 7.x devices.

I tried the trial; it is a good idea for a game and is pretty hard (sometimes). Good graphics too.

Use two hands. Worked for me. :D
