Flipit & Guessit, a picture puzzle Windows Phone game

Flipit & Guess

Flipit & Guessit is an interesting picture puzzle game for your Windows Phone 8 and 7.x devices. You are presented with a blacked out picture that is divided into an 8x8 grid. Tap on a grid to reveal part of the picture and guess what the picture is when you have revealed enough of the picture.

The main pages for Flipit & Guessit shows your player progress and high scores. There are currently 150 levels of play that starts out slow but gradually picks up in difficulty.

The game page has your photo center screen, your score, coin level, and puzzle level across the top of the screen and your letters/entry at the bottom of the screen.

Flipit & Guess

The fewer squares you need to reveal, the higher your score for that level. As you complete the level you earn coins that can be used to skip a level or remove a letter. Additionally, you can earn coins by sharing the game and rating it. These options are found by tapping the "?" next to your letter field.

All in all, Flipit & Guessit is a casual game that isn't a bad way to pass the time. While the game starts slow, it does have some challenging pictures. The only downside to the game is that once you name the picture, you don't get to see the full image before advancing to the next level.

Flipit & Guessit is a free, ad-supported game that you can find here in the Windows Phone Store.

Ad supported and no Xbox integration means no download for me. The game sounds cool though.

mondokjm says:

This doesn't make any sense. Why write off a game because it has ads or because a developer didn't have the resources to go through the grueling Xbox certification process?

Isn't that what the comment section is all about? Tell what our reaction is. My reaction is what I have said above. I have nothing against the app developer or the game.

DHX says:

You know, mondo was also reacting and commenting on your asinine comment and ill-conceived thought process as well. I think you'll find most of us would agree with him as well. Passing up a game which you even admit sounds cool, just because the developer chose not to charge you anything for it in favor of tiny ads, and for the lack of achievements really does not make a bit of sense!

jkelek says:

Any game that can't spell guess right and puts every popular game title in its description stating it's just like those games is an automatic pass for me. Too bad, sounds like good idea for a game.

Duffau says:

Ya what the heck is up with that? Just trying to pull people in from searches?

baracatwp7 says:

The name was intended. It was used to catch your attention and it turned out to be great for the logo (check it out)
I added popular game titles in the description (like many of the top games) because my games are lacking visibility even though they get great ratings (check the comments on the game)
It would be great if you could check it out and provide me with your valuable feedback

Jazmac says:

I tried the game out when the dev dropped it a couple weeks ago. As it turns out, it really ain't half bad. I don't like the ads. But I don't like any app that has them. At the same time I'm keeping this one in my game rotation. It is a well conceived and well  written app. And its a great time waster.

StormGroud says:

This Game is a pretty cool game with a cool concept. Its pretty easy If you just think while playing the game. It is similar to some games on wp8 but for all windows phones.
