Flixster gets Mango-ized in v1.6
Movie app Flixster, which offers access to showtimes, movie trailers and Rotten Tomatoes reviews, has made the leap to Mango in its newest version 1.6.
The biggest improvement is the ability to create multiple live tiles for favorite movies and theaters. Movies that get pinned to the start screen flip between the movie poster and the Rotten Tomatoes score, along with a tomato or "splat" icon. Version 1.6 also includes Bing mobile search integration and fast app switching.
You must have Mango installed on your device for this update. If you do, you can get Flixster here (opens Zune) at the Marketplace.

That just means it'll be waiting for the masses when Mango is released. I wish all apps were already Mango'fied. I think it's going to be lame having to check WPC to see what apps are updated for Mango and what not.

That's our intent--these new Mango features are impressive and since all the apps aren't updated at once, we try to cover the big ones, the interesting ones, etc.All a lot of the public isn't on Mango yet, Japan and Taiwan are and it's going to start to happen in the next few weeks for the rest. Plus, there's lots of devs--the more they see, the more they'll be inspired to update their apps, get ideas, etc.

How on God's green Earth did you get rated down? Apparently someone doesn't want to have all of their apps "Mango'fied" at the same time. That person wants an app per day!

And yet they still haven't added the ability to log in to your Flixster account and rate movies as you see them? How does an app like this miss a feature that is essentially their # 2 website feature (Behind movie showtimes *maybe*)? Sigh...
