Get ready for this year's Super Bowl with NFL Connect for Windows 8

Are you ready for this year’s Super Bowl? This February 2, the Denver Broncos will face off against the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII. Your check list for the Sunday event should include a ton of hot Buffalo wings, a six pack of your favorite drink, and of course – the NFL Connect app for Windows 8.

Just in time for this year’s Super Bowl, OneUp Games presents the new NFL Connect app that allows you to follow your favorite games on your tablet as they take place in real-time. The best way to think of the new application is as SmartGlass for NFL games.

Every NFL live NFL game can be tracked right from the tablet; instantly look up the current score, the game board, and interact with the community and your friends while doing so. If you are the competitive type, you can take advantage of the new head-to-head competition with NFL fans from around the nation.

Take part in the action by making predictions of upcoming games and scoring virtual tokens. Even take the time to engage in a bingo style game for tokens as you watch. Will your favorite player make a touchdown or how about a 20 yard rush? As actions take place in the live game, you can easily score.

To play and engage with your friends, simply have them download the NFL Connect app to their Windows 8 device and you can connect via Facebook to get the party started. Bank points, trash-talk the enemy team, and rise up the leader board in the latest way to engage with the game.

For more information on the live entertainment provided by NFL Connect, you can visit their website by clicking here or simply download the app for Windows 8 by clicking here. Are you ready for this year’s Super Bowl XLVIII?

I'm in. The few live events I didn't with the Xbox was pretty cool.

This app is one of the most polished I've experienced on Windows 8.

I'm not even gonna say it.

News organizations are protected from copyright laws and can use SuperBowl and not Big Game. Learn something new everyday!

Dusteater says:

Requires Facebook? That sucks, guess I can't use it.

Only needs Facebook if you want to connect with friends. You can still follow live games and play with strangers (although ask your mom first).

Has anyone got this app to work on a surface rt? The app won't load for me and kicks me back to my start screen.

I am running on surface RT.

Very well done.  This is one of the best games I have seen on Windows 8.  Fantastic!
