Hands-on with the LG Optimus 7

The rumors are true, folks. There's actually a Windows Phone here at the IFA conference in Berlin, Germany. It's the LG Optimus 7, aka the GW910 aka the Panther. It's not a full production unit just yet, and it was on hand really to show off DLNA media sharing -- which lets you wirelessly pipe video, photos and the like from your phone to your TV. Photos and video after the break.

Hands-on with the LG Optimus 7

The soft keyboard opens in landscape when the screen is in landscape mode.

What the LG Optimus 7 is NOT the LG Panther. The E900 is the LG Optimus 7. This is obviously LG trying to show off a common feature on all of their wp7 devices without actually showing off the Optimus 7.

That's definitely preproduction. The hardware keyboard has arrow keys, which are not supposed to be allowed on WP7 devices, last I read. Of course, that could have changed ;)

Whatever the device is etc, the feature they're showing off is cool.

Very cool indeed. Particularly useful when you want to go big screen with some photos/videos that you captured that same day.

Wow the phones are looking so lovely, and i think features will also really good in this lg phones.

I hope the DNLA implementation is better than Samsung's on the Omnia II. That was prone to streaming issues and just not working at all.
