HTC has released its unaudited October 2012 financial report, which displays a YoY (year-on-year) decrease in revenues of 60 percent. Last month the manufacturer revealed it brought in NT$17.2 billion ($588 million), down from NT$44.114 billion ($1.5 billion) during the same period in 2011. Rumors are coming in that Nokia and HTC will launch their Windows Phone 8 handsets in China simultaneously next month. To be exact, Nokia is throwing a launch party, partnered with China Mobile, on December 6th in Guangzhou, while HTC's party (appears to be on its own) will happen the next day in Beijing.

Lots and lots of Windows Phones

UK retailer Clove is a strong supporter of Windows Phone, if its product listings are anything to go by. Not only is the retailer sporting the Samsung ATIV S, which we covered previously, but Clove also now has the HTC 8X, HTC 8S, Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 available online.

Pre-registrations have opened up for the HTC 8X, HTC 8S and Lumia 820 at UK retailer Carphone Warehouse. On its website, all three Windows Phone 8 handsets are stated to be arriving soon, with November 2012 as an estimated month of release. No pricing has been provided as-of-yet.

Expansys UK is has listed the HTC 8X and 8S as available for pre-order. The HTC 8X is listed for £399.99 and the HTC 8S is listed for £239.99.  It is our understanding that shipping dates for the 8X will be November 2, 2012 and the 8S will ship shortly thereafter on November 15, 2012.

In looking at other Expansys sites, both HTC Windows Phone 8 devices appear to be available for pre-order across the board.  On Expansys U.S. the HTC 8X (unlocked) will run $629.99 and the HTC 8S (unlocked) will run $349.99.
