The Impossible Line is a relatively new puzzle game for your Windows Phone that not only calls upon your drawing skills but your memory as well.
The goal is to draw a line from the start pint to the end point, drawing through as many stars and avoid contact with barriers that rest in between your way. Sounds simple right?
The Impossible Line is a multi-level Windows Phone game with fifty levels that progressively become more challenging. The main menu has options to access the game's settings, view the about screen, provide feedback to the developer as well as playing the game.
The first few levels serve more as tutorials than a way to test your skills. Game play with The Impossible Line is about as simple as it gets, draw a line connecting the start point and end point. You do need to intersect with as many stars as possible (to collect them) and avoid any barriers on the screen. As you complete a level, the next level comes unlocked. To be successful at a level you'll have to collect at least one star. Once completed, levels are re-playable.
Lines can cross and if you lift your finger from the screen before completing the circuit, you restart the level. If you make contact with a barrier, you fail the level.
Everything sounds so simple but once you begin drawing your line, the barrier's become invisible. If you forget where the obstacles are, just lift your finger and they re-appear. The down side to that tactic is that you'll have to start over.
The first five or six levels are easy to navigate through with plenty of elbow room to use around the obstacles. But when the space between things get tight, the urge to use the tiny tip of a finger to draw the line is a little overwhelming.
When all is said and done, The Impossible Line is an entertaining, casual puzzle game for our Windows Phone. Currently there is only easy levels with medium levels in the works.
The Impossible Line is a free game that is available for both Windows Phone 7 and 8.x devices. You can download The Impossible Line here in the Windows Phone Store.
