IonBallEX gets a Mango update, kills a few bugs

IonballEX

IronSun Studios’ new game Battlewagon is due to hit Xbox Live in December. In the meantime, the developer has updated its other Live title, IonBallEX, with Mango support.

IonBallEX version 1.1 release notes:

  • Support for Fast Application Switching
  • Fixed the following bugs:

1) Scrollbar icon on shop goes beneath bottom of the scrollbar region when moving to the bottom items in the shop

2) Powerups are not lost when they should be

  1. Start a new game - (buy upgrades, etc.)

  2. When you die, Continue and play some more.

  3. When you die, start a new game and then lose on levels 2 or 3.

  4. Select Continue. All upgrades from steps 1 and 2 are still applied.

3) Infinite shield glitch

  1. Start a new game and play until you get the shield powerup (blue line, beneath the bat)

  2. When the ball touches it, pause the game and exit to menu.

  3. From menu, select Continue Game.

  4. Shield is back to green, but still active - you'll not lose another ball....

Basically, those last two bugs made the game ridiculously easy to beat. IonBallEX isn’t all that hard anyway, so it’s good that they were fixed.

IonBallEX costs $2.99 and there is a free trial. Get it here from the Marketplace.
