LINE shifts a couple of buttons in latest update

There are many options for messaging apps on Windows Phone. One of them is LINE. If you use the app, then you’ll be glad to know that it has just received an update. In addition to bug fixes and general performance improvements, a couple of buttons have been repositioned. Head past the break for the full change log.

What’s new in LINE version 3.2.0

  • General performance improvements
  • Repositioned send button
  • Shifted Settings button to More menu
  • Bug fixes and performance improvements

LINE has more than 330 million users worldwide and is used in over 231 countries. Users can send messages, photos, videos, voice messages, as well as location info in an instant. You can also make free voice calls anywhere and everywhere. LINE has apps for Android, iOS, Blackberry, Asha, and desktop, so your friends without Windows Phone devices can install it, too.

LINE is a free download from the Windows Phone Store. If you already use LINE, check out the new update and let us know what you think in the comments!

Thanks for the tip, Mahziar M.!

The UI was fine, what they need to fix is the notification system... Half the time I don't even get notified that I have a message...

brayvefart says:

Agreed...incoming call notifications too!

I3unny says:

Yea I agree with you!

Binson#WP says:

The button movement is appreciated. Hope they're also fixing the issue where autocorrect won't work within the app soon.

When will line give WP all the stickers for which it is famous?? Have stopped using line now. No new stickers of late. Bring the app at par with android else we have whats app.

darthhen says:

Damn. Guess gotta wait for sticker shop feature....

ali80 says:

I don't know what is the problem. Everytime I try to download stickers, it says "failed to download"

HeavyHanded says:

I wish they'd make the return (enter) key not "send" but behave properly. Too bad,it doesn't allow stickers to be purchased.

n1ghtc0m says:

Go to Settings and pick Chat & Voice Calls to change the behavior of the Return key.

Wunderheiler says:

Anybody know if Line automatically sync the Address Book or is it optional?

khunhorm says:

Setting > friend manager > auto add friends

Wunderheiler says:

Means it is not mandatory to copy/send the complete Address Book? That would be great and might me to try it :). Can anybody conform this is the case?!

Only my husband uses Line but I prefer it to viber as viber is even less updated with stickers than Line. The update makes it faster.

thulank says:

Sticker shop please ! Windows phone user is money

Still no Line Games, sticker shop, timeline, video call and custom tone.. :(

Marco Gomes1 says:

They'll have to do a way better job if they want people to ditch whatsapp and others. I actually don't know one single person who uses this app.

I use it only to chat with my GF, no one else uses it. We prefer Line over Viber cause call quality is much better, viber often disconnects or we have poor quality even though signal is very good

Any word on paltalk?

So everyone have many problems with LINE application, me too!
In last Wednesday, I talked with Nokia Thailand's executives about LINE at Lumia 1320 event in Thailand. They said that they talk with LINE's developer many times to deliver all of features in LINE application to Windows Phone.
They said that they don't want to talk with only LINE, but they continue to talk with another companies and developer to deliver the applications or the best experience of apps in Windows Phone.
