Sounds good to me. Will be downloading all of them.

kenzibit says:

I read Games with Gold on Xbox One will just be like on PS+ whereby you loose the games once you gold membership expires. Can someone confirm this for me. And also if my gold membership dies and able to renew after 24 hours, do get them back or they gone forever.

DreadVenom says:

Yes GWG for x1 is just like ps+. Also they aren't gone forever, only inaccessible for the period which you stop paying for the service.

Paul Acevedo says:

That's right, access to the games is tied to subscription on Xbox One. But most of us expect you will regain access to free games you've downloaded if renew your subscription.

Damn, they took away one of the biggest pluses for GWG in comparison to PS+

Paul Acevedo says:

It is a shame, but it sounds like they're trying to be more feature-equivalent to PS+ instead of different now. The plus side is that we should get newer games free on Xbox One instead of older games like on the 360.

It's still different.  GWG let's you redownload the game forever (so long as you have an active subscription).  With PS+, once it's removed from the Instant Game Collection, it's gone for good.

Paul Acevedo says:

Are you quite sure about that? I thought people could redownload them from their download history or some such.

kenzibit says:

Yeah you could Paul......but on the 360 that is....whether you are Gold or your Gold expires, you'll still have those games in your history and able to re-download them...BUT on Xbox One, you'll forever have access to them so far as you are gold but when your gold expires, although the games will be in your history you can not re-download them unless you renew your Gold.....that's the difference I didn't know at first thus made me ask the question. I now understand and know why the said it'll be just like PS+ on Xbox One.

kenzibit says:

Great....nice to hear they wont go forever...thanks.

swizzlerz says:

Just make sure you are always gold. I'm good untill fall 2015.. I like to buy gold on sale then activate it.

ahmedjan87 says:

Do gold members get them for free forever or as long as they are subscribed?

Adan G says:

I heard this changed for the Xbox One.  I'll try to find out and report back.

gtc69 says:

Have read 360 gold keep forever but one gold is only for as long as subscribed

Adan G says:

Yup, that's what I found:

According to IGN:

Games available on Xbox One via the program require a Gold membership to play, which isn't the case for Games with Gold on Xbox 360. Microsoft says that "members will have subscription-based access to free games ranging from top hits to breaking indie stars."

ahmedjan87 says:

Thanks for the research

HarkAtYou says:

I am new to this, how do you get the free gold games, so they just appear in the normal store at the reduced price during those days, or do you need to go somewhere different for them? I have an Xbox one, and I bought my little brother a 360, is it the same for both?

David P2 says:

Just go into them as normal - it will say "free" if you have a current Gold subscription.

Nimdock says:

For Xbox One games it will be subscription based. So as long as you keep Gold.

Aashish13 says:

Microsoft expand Xbox consoles more in European countries please.

How much would taxes be? Just curious.

Depending on the size and weight and what it is, the Xbone Could be up to R1000 extra or around $100

HRGApollo says:

Already have 'em. And I have a feeling this'll be the case for the foreseeable future. But it IS great to see Deals/Games With Gold come to XB1. Really looking forward to the "Deals" part of it... Anyone know what will be on sale?

simphf says:

Ryse is one.

Nimdock says:

Already own Max. I highly recommend it, cool game. Get it as soon as it is available if you don't own it yet. :P :)

1jaxstate1 says:

I got Battlefield 3 yesterday and getting Dark Souls in a week! Everyone loves freegames!

Yousef Kawmi says:

about the BF3, is it only until 3 june ? or if you bought it now as "free" it's your forever ?
EDIT: oh never mind just found the info on Origin site it says it's your for ever, awesome but alreay played 300+h :)

DreadVenom says:

Cant wait to grab SF:AE for 360. Having recently watched SF:AF web series got me pumped for it again.

DavidinCT says:

Nice, finally a free Xbox one game...I have Halo but, Max I was willing to play but, never got it, now I can get it for free !

ratsta says:

Very happy about max loved the mobile game

Mister Gore says:

I already have Dark Souls but will download it so I don't have to get up and get the disc. Looking forward to Charlie Murder and SFIV

Neo Nuke says:

Have them both already and the hold subscription to play them is lame. Sigh. They are backtracking everything to meet the ps4. Goodbye revolutionary Kinect games.

ed1444 says:

damn that sucks

Nakazul says:

Charlie Murder, is that the game with the musicians?

Salokinos says:

I already bought both

Looking forward to Dark Souls and Charlie Murder...I fell out of love with fighting games after high school. I just don't find them fun anymore since I typically play games by myself...And no, I don't play them online because the people you play against do nothing else but play those games and casual players like myself just get destroyed....Fun for them maybe!

twofron says:

Awesome! Games I already own!

NH3MAN says:

Good Deal! Already have Halo assault on the 360 and WP so this is good as I wasn't going to buy it for the Xbone and I don't boot up the 360 that much anymore.

donebrasko says:

Five games for free? I'm in

Khensu says:

I just bought Max last weekend... oops.  Oh well, it's a good game, glad to give the dev some cash when it's worth it.

JimmyRespawn says:

Dark souls is really a great game.

lemonsteveo says:

So I'll be getting some free games before I get my hands on a Xbox one? Not bad!

arseny92 says:

The Xbox One game store links are wrong in the article, since the Xbox One store is at store.xbox.com, whereas 360 store remains on marketplace.xbox.com

rodrione says:

Yes, its free....
