Microsoft to release Special Edition Arctic Camouflage Xbox 360 controller

Xbox 360

Xbox 360 owners will soon be able to add a Special Edition Arctic Camouflage controller to their collection. Microsoft has showed continued support for its popular Xbox 360 video game console. Not only has the company pushed out new content in the forms of updates, media and games, but the console will also be receiving a shiny new controller.

The controller sports a lightly colored camoflage design with multiple shades of white and light grey. Since this is an official controller from Microsoft, the Xbox 360 logo is present, alongside the standard control layout. It's also perfect for gaming outside in the snow, wearing full camo gear. The D-pad is also stated to be able to transform into a disc "for greater precision in directional and sweeping movements".

While there's no firm release date, the controller is listed on the Xbox Store for $54.99 and will be "coming soon". Would you be interested in one?

Yeah I like it

Wheelman says:

Still waiting for one of my controllers to break and then 3 others have a reason to get the old camo. But then this will be player 2.

xratola says:

It won't make you a better player

Miistercoool says:

I want it since my controllers are all messed up but idk for that price I rather get a used one from Gamestop.... I will eventually get the Xbox one anyways..so don't see any reason to buy a flashy new controller that's not going to be used for more than a year...

I love collecting special controllers from xbox 360

cybermoose89 says:

When if they make a new gears of war xbox one controller I'll have one of those

DJCBS says:

Shouldn't they be releasing these sort of things for the Xbox One instead? I mean... Sure it's nice they are still supporting the 360 but they should be trying to make the Xbone appealing to people, not the 360...

Ed Boland says:

I like the limited edition Titanfall controller they have for Xbox One... Now all I need is an Xbox One. (I play Titanfall on the PC)

Ejay Lozano says:

I'll stick to my rare olive green halo edition controllers...

Think I'd rather get a Scuf with a better design, plus the mw2 controller looked better with its digital camouflage.

GuyZ I've a problem , two or three days ago an update released for WP 8.1 , when I installed the WP 8.1 on my L 820 I made a hard reset so the preview for developers app was deleted, so I downloaded it again and put my live ID the app said I'm not registered , but in the registration tool on the PC it says I'm registered , untill now I didn't get the update , what do I do now? , do I have to download the WP 8.1 SDK and register again? , or is there any way to update my phone ?? Help please !, thanks

If I read it right with my zombie head. U are not registered on the app and are registered on PC. What update do u want? The 8.1 update?. After a hard reset, the update 8.1 with all later updates should still be on your phone, so updating is not needed. Look in your phone's info. It should say OS 8.1 (At least it did for me after a hard reset, I did not had to re-update to 8.1) make sure first, U used the same E-mail address on your phone and on the Preview for dev app. |Try too hook up your phone on PC and check.| if its feature updates like glance, touch or anything else. I suggest to download an app like "sysapp pusher" and check for the latest updates thru that so it wakes up the phone update service, so it downloads the latest firmware update too. I used this trick before on Lumia 1020.

Am I the only one that thinks the 360 controller is actually better than the One controller? I feel like the new controller feels cheaply built.

spinzeroWL says:

The 360 controller certainly looks better...and having used the 360 controller for years, I really rate how it feels in the hand too.
Quite honestly, aside from graphics, has the One ir PS4 really passed the 360 in pure gameplay? To me, there just isn't enough of a step up in any area to justify the expense

atkulp says:

What's with the white photo of nothing? Is there supposed to be a controller there? ;-)

Mystictrust says:

I thought the same thing at first. But if you look close enough you can kind of make out colored ABXY buttons in the same shape they'd be on a controller. Impressive!

The best looking 360 controller is the halo 4 limited edition. But I wouldn't kick this one out of bed either.
