Check out Microsoft's pre-E3 event raffle for tickets to its Xbox media briefing

Xbox One Controller

As we have reported before, Microsoft is getting into the E3 2014 mood early in Los Angeles by hosting an event on Sunday morning at the Microsoft Store location in Century City. 100 people who show up will be picked to attend the Xbox E3 2014 media briefing to be held on Monday at the Galen Center.

Now Microsoft's Xbox Live director of programming Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb has offered up some more information on the Microsoft Store Century City event. He states that there is no reason for people who want to win one of the Xbox media briefing slots to camp out ahead of time as everyone who arrives by 11 am on Sunday will have an equal chance of being entered into the raffle.

Specifically, the line for the E3 raffle will begin in the courtyard on the side of the nearby LensCrafters store. The drawings themselves will begin at 11:15 am and continue every 15 minutes until the last raffle drawing at 12:45 pm. The only major requirement is that the winners need to be 18 years old or older to attend the media briefing.

After the drawings are held, the Microsoft Store in Century City will hold another event from 1-3 pm where the public will get a chance to play a number of new and upcoming Xbox One independent games under the ID@Xbox banner. There will also be a number of giveaways during the event but details were not announced.

WPCentral team members will be going to Los Angeles to attend E3 2014 so expect a lot of news from the event next week. In the meantime, are you planning to attend Microsoft's pre-E3 event on Sunday if you live in LA?

Will Sam be signing autographs?

Be nice if these types of events were somewhere other than LA. I live in Florida where it pours rain in the bright sunshine and the traffic is slower than pouring molasses.

Would love to but I'm clear across the US up here in little old Maine but I always forget only big cities get these cool opportunities

Which WPC members would that be, Daniel?
