Motorola to Acquire Good Technology

Well now, Motorola is buyingGood Technology, they who provide great push-email solutions for all sorts of devices. I've been a fan of this company even before they went all server-side email on us - back when they had the Soundsgood mp3 springboard for visors. TreoCentral's Jennifer Chappell writes:

*Well, now it appears that Motorola knows a "good" thing when it sees it -- Motorola has acquired Good. Now consumers might have a choice between BlackBerry Connect or Good software on a Motorola WM device.

I think it might go a little further than that - I'm willing to bet that Moto wants to have a dead-simple email solution for consumers - ala Sidekick. At least they promised to continue to support non-Moto devices.

They just got support for Windows Phone. Does this mean that Goovil will put a stop to that?
