AT&T has just announced that their customers who travel internationally will be able to enjoy more data packed tiers that are more affordable. I envy this from a stand where unfortunately Three UK don't cover a wide variety of countries within their international add-on (which doesn't even offer data) and AT&T seem to has good coverage (be sure to check before traveling).
This will surely aid anyone who has not gone with the plan previously and have attempted to hunt down WiFi throughout their traveling. The new (updated) international data package tiers are as follows:

WOW! The most you can get is 800mb for $199/month!? That's freakin' worthless!
I have to pay £3 per MB. That works out to 800MB costing me £2400 ($3800). Still worthless?
Yikes! I pay $25/month for 2GB, and I still have to keep an eye on it. I didn't realize that other countries had it worse than that. I suddenly appreciate my 2GB much more.
OUCH!! I remember going to europe on a 2 week trips last year , i swear to god EVERY single place i whent had WIFI ( even the freakign subway , lol ) **** that 200$sure its better then paying 3800$ but it even better to pay 0$!!
International service fees are no joke. I would recommend removing any International service on your phone, it's free to add it. Cause they know if you get tempted to use it, its going to be a nice extra fee for them. I was in Guam and probably make 4-5 short calls while out there. And received some text message I had a bill for over $400 when my usual bill is around $79. I had calls bouncing from Russia, Hawaii, etc... So I do understand the fee since they have to use non-at&t towers, and satellites to get your call & texts back to the US. So I've removed any Int. Calling services that way I won't be tempted to make a quick 5min call that will cost me $40-50
