Working the Lumia angle, ay!

The new Tablet being announced right now by Microsoft is unbelievable. No more iPad envy! This is the future, and we will all want it! And then everyone will want a Windows Phone so they can extend the experience. Shorting Apple stock right now! This will be the must-have this Xmas!

It's so simple yet so cool, why has nobody thought about this before? Making a cover that will protect the display the standard AND put a keyboard into it. It's astonishing that Microsoft managed to hold this secret for so long. I am definitely interested. Would love to see a couple more specs and the price point, but my first impression is that this thing can compete with any tablet on the market right now.

I have to admit to being quietly stunned by these renders and I know nothing about it yet... Looks a bit like an elaborate iPad case. ;) Now things are started to look good. Funnily enough I just sold my iPad 2 too...

Nice job, they knocked this one out of the park. Good job MS now when can I get one and how much is it? The keyboard cover is fantastic as is the aspect ratio. Good bye 4:3 iPad.

Anybody notice that the cover color choices are the same as those we've already seen, either released or teased, for Lumias? Coincidence? :)

Is the cyan the same lumia phones?

I've never really had a need for a tablet, and still don't but.......I want one of these!

Looks cool.  Now, they just need to get the Metro apps right.  Lots of issues with them at this point, but I guess they can iterate on them quickly.

Is it October yet? I'm going to be tapped out by Christmas. New Nokia Windows Phone 8, New Surface and Windows 8 upgrade.
