NewsSpot Version 2.7 released to marketplace

We looked at NewsSpot back in September and have since been contacted by the developer to advise that version 2.7 is now available.
The Google Reader client was well received by us and we were looking forward to seeing the updates trickle through so we’re glad things are now on track. To get the update you will need to hit a new link in the marketplace which you can find below.

Bernhard has been forced to change the account that the app is released under and as a result, if you have bought the app previously you will need to buy it again to get the newest version. He has contacted us to help make people aware of this issue. As a way to prevent paying again for the update he is making the app free for a limited time (one week) so make sure to grab it as soon as possible.
If you’re not familiar with the Google Reader app, I recently did an overview of it. Please take a look at the review here. You can download NewsSpot from the Windows Phone Store.

From what I've seen till now, this is a fantastic app. A free app with no ads in main reading screen? That's a wonder.

How do you add subscriptions?
FourSpotProject says:
adding subscriptions is currently not possible. But I assure you its pretty high on the task list :)

Apart from not being able to add subscriptions, its on par with nextgen reader. the best thing about this app, is no ads, and its free.
