NFL Now update adds live streaming and more on Windows Phone and Windows 8.1


NFL Now for Windows Phone and Windows 8.1 has just been updated days before the start of the 2014 season. The app joined the Windows family just last week, but has already picked up a big update. Head into the Windows Phone Store and you'll find version Today's update is most notable for adding live streaming to the app!

Here's the full changelog for version of NFL Now on Windows Phone:

  • Added live streaming! You can now watch live streaming NFL Now events like NFL Fantasy Live and select team press conferences (subject to availability and schedule).
  • Improved NFL.com Fantasy integration
  • Highlights are now sorted in chronological order when the game has ended
  • Decreased load time for the app so you get to your videos faster
  • General bug fixes and enhancements


The changelog above also applies to the Windows 8.1 version of NFL Now. This is a solid update that we know a lot of you will enjoy once the 2014 season kicks off. Though it's worth noting you'll now need a paid subscription to enjoy video highlights within the app.

A little devious in that title of the article. It made it seem like it would live stream games which is what we would all want. Heck I'd pay for it.

I almost thought live streaming of games and passed out. But I'm ok. I'm ok now.lol But this is still freaking great. Updating now! Should be a great season.

is this exclusive to Verizon subscribers?

Your live streaming doesn't actually mean live streaming the games now does it?
