Nokia launching the Lumia 625 in Singapore later this week

Lumia 625

Nokia is set to launch the Lumia 625 in Singapore later this week, on Thursday 5th to be exact. Though there's no word on mobile operator availability just yet, Nokia has announced that the Windows Phone will be sold for S$399 ($310) off-contact at retail, and will be unveiled at the COMEX IT fair. If you're looking forward to checking out the largest display on any Lumia smartphone, you'll not have long to wait now.

As noted above, there's no word from local operators regarding price or dates, but it has been confirmed that the Lumia 625 will be stocked by SingTel and Starhub (display models have already been spotted in the wild). To serve as a quick reminder, the Lumia 625 sports LTE connectivity, a dual-core 1.2 GHz CPU, 2000mAh battery and the 4.7-inch display.

You mean Microsoft...lol.

DJCBS says:

Until the European authorities and the shareholders approve, it's still Nokia.

If it was not already approved, the CEO of both company wouldn't go public and talk about the deal. This is something that has been in the making for a long time. All that press release and stuff is simply formality.

Etios says:

It is just a formality now, shareholders will definitely sell :)

The only good inprovement of L625 over L620 for me is battery (LTE in india is not available so useless here) .
I saw today L625 in the shop but why would it be so big a screen without the any improvement on the power (processor, ram...etc) i think i can skip  this phone... still prefer my L620
