Nokia Lumia 1020 64 GB now available in Czech Republic for 17,995 CZK

White Nokia Lumia 1020

The Nokia Lumia 1020 is by far one of the most unique Windows Phone devices out there right now. It’s hard to claim any one device is the “best”, because you might not appreciate the outrageous camera on the Lumia 1020 and would prefer the svelte profile of the Lumia 925. Either way, it’s an amazing piece of technology that is slowly showing up in more markets all over the world. Find yourself in the Czech Republic and wanting a 64GB Lumia 1020? You’re in luck. Details below.

O2 in the Czech Republic has the 64GB variant of the Lumia 1020 in limited stock. You’ll want to act fast if you’ve been wanting to pick up the device. You can find the Lumia 1020 in 64GB if you get the white version, unfortunately it looks like other colors are capped at 32GB.

Lumia 1020 Czech Republic

How much is it going to cost to get the white Lumia 1020 with 64GB? It’s going for 17,995 CZK ($965 USD). Fairly expensive, but you can get the device on other payment plans. For example, putting 11,995 CZK down and paying 250 CZK monthly for 24 months on O2 Mobile. Act fact, our Czech Republic tipster called a few stores in the area where they confirmed limited supplies and that white would be the only way to get 64GB.

The Lumia 1020 is also showing up on other retailers in the country like www.alza.cz and www.mall.cz where they vary in price from 14,679 CZK to 19,000 CZK.

Grabbing a Lumia 1020 in the Czech Republic or waiting for the next wave of devices from Nokia? Sound off below!

Thanks for the tip Henry!

I wish my yellow 1020 was 64GB :(

(and btw; FIRST!)

Mingu7 says:

My wish is a Nokia Lumia 1040 with the following:

- Faster CPU with improved bus speeds (to greatly reduce the camera lag between shots in ProCam)
- 64GB option in all markets -or- microSD slot
- Available in Cyan
- Available in a variant with built-in wireless charging.

Those are in priority order btw :)

Zulfigar says:

Yeah, was about to say, the built-in wireless charging would add weight and bulk to it - probably why they decided against it.

sholokov says:

Whaaat! Wish I had a 64 GB version. BTW ^that guy is first. LOL.

You better Czech your Republic

tbonenga says:

Ahhhhhh 64GB...... I can only dream of this on T-Mobile.

Steven Ealy says:

T-Mobile only owns about 30% of its own infrastructure, the rest of the GSM market is dominated by AT&T, however T-Mobile undoubtedly has the fastest 4G. ATT is still your best bet due to global coverage and non-spotty areas, unlike Tmobile which is absolutely garbage. F$%! T-No go.

I have a yellow 64gb Lumia 1020 from O2 Germany and it's great :)

FCone says:

At first I really wanted a 64G version. Having no choice but a 32G just means I grab my HD pics off once a month and drop them in Skydrive via my PC.

HaibaneReki says:

Seeing the three words Lumia, Czech and 64GB in one sentence is out of this world ^_^ I paid 15500CZK for my 920 dang it! ^_^

dancunder says:

Adam, yup. I am proud of our country getting a headline on WPC, but too bad that the 1020 is so badly overpriced, as much as similar items on that market.

sixium says:

Will this work on AT&T?

Vistaus says:

Yeah, but don't expect any updates. AT&T will block those O2 updates because they're bad boys lol.

nukeypearce says:

Not to blow my own trumpet or whatever but I guess I'm lucky to have a Lumia 1020. In yellow. The 64GB version. Completely debranded, on EE. ;)

houtex2380 says:

U lucky bean dip lol jk must nice!!

zero_kbom says:

Is it unlocked O2 version?

nukeypearce says:

Hey. I was going to get the o2 version but I didn't want all the branded crap you get with the boot up, as well as the hassle of the credit checks so nope it's not the o2 version. It's the CV GBIE Euro RM-875_euro1_211 version. And yes it is unlocked, I tried a Voda SIM card in there and it works :)

I'm so jealous that I'm goin to nukey you to pearces!

HaibaneReki says:

Don't be such a smartact ^_^

houtex2380 says:

If I had $ I would fly over there buy unlocked and fly back (if possible) or hack that hoe ( if possible)

mad_siberian says:

And on 10/11 in Russia for 26990 rub (~$899)!

NAWF_SIDE says:

HMMMM.....so this will work on att?

is this phone can be upgraded to GDR3?

Not sure if you can upgrade and if o2 will support it it's not tied to contract. Will check with them here in Prague
