Nokia Lumia 900 now available in Germany via Amazon.de

Nokia Lumia 900 now at Amazon.de

It is no secret that the Nokia Lumia 900 is headed to Germany. The only mystery was the "when".

While we are still waiting for the European carrier O2 to receive the Lumia 900, Amazon.de has changed their listing for the Windows Phone from an expected delivery on May 31st to "In Stock".

Amazon.de listing Nokia Lumia 900

Amazon.de is listed for 504,89€ with free delivery. The Lumia 900 is being offered in black, cyan and white models.  The white model is listed at 499€.  Prices do include VAT and all three models are listed as being in stock.

Meanwhile over at O2, reservations for the white Lumia 900 are still being taken with inventory expected sometime this month.

Thanks, mreck, for the tip!

Don't have lumia but my wp 7.5 still works great. No need for lumia has it all have same OS on every new windows phone anyway :-P

Yes, 500 is quite a lot, but the same as the latest Samsung Galaxy S3 sim free and  cheaper than an iPhone sim free. I rate the phone as good if not better than these in many respects. Simply its a great phone with great apps already in like Nokia Drive and Nokia Music.
The article isn't strictly correct... if you want the phone supplied by Amazon, then it is still showing not yet released in any of the 3 colours.  It's only 3rd party resellers that are saying the phone is in stock, and the cheapest price is 544.62 Euro at the moment. Once Amazon itself has it in stock it, their price will be 499/504 as stated in the above......but there is no date saying when they will have it!
I bought the phone in the UK for use in Germany, and I am really happy with it....its a really smart looking phone, and the integration of all the apps by Microsoft shows they have really thought things through. It is also really fast. I've had iPhones and Android phones, but I have to say this is the best so far...(Android being second and iPhone last in my ranking).
One tip for Germany, I was using a cut down Base/E-Plus sim card (as the phone needs a micro sim). While this worked fine in Android and iPhones, the Lumia didn't like it and I was getting SIM errors, so I got a new micro sim issued....just in case you experience the same.

I hope the Lumia 900 and Windows Phone catches on more and does well so we will see more and more apps released for it (100,000 already!)

Great that it finally becomes available through Amazon.de. I will stick with my Lumia 800 for now though. I really like this phone *very* much. WP with all those great Nokia apps (esp. Nokia Music, Drive, Maps and the exclusive CNN app) is a great combination. My next buy will be an 808. I am really curious to try that camera. I will very likely limit its use to times when I want to use the camera and keep the Lumia 800 as my primary always with me phone.

It wouldn't be so clever to buy it before the 20th.
If the announcement will be disappointing you can either decide not to buy it or wait for the price to drop further.

The price is to high imho, WP7 has to weak hardware to justify such a high price tag. 359€ would have been ok.
