More coverage

Test Mobile.fr have got their hands on a Lumia 920 and took it for a ride around Helsinki, Finland. As well as trying out the stabilisation in PureView to compare the camera against the iPhone 5 when recording, the team also looked more closely at the photography aspect of the Windows Phone. Namely, low-light capturing.

AT&T has featured Nokia's Lumia 920 Windows Phone in an advertisement, which says "hello!" to the 4G network spanning across North America. The carrier holds an exclusive deal with the Finnish manufacturer to stock the flagship Windows Phone in the US, once the platform launches tomorrow.

While we all wait for the new Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 Windows Phones to hit the store shelves, both are now popping up over on Ebay. The Lumia 920 is listed as $799 US and the Lumia 820 is coming in $699.

Both are listed as unlocked and while the listing states "Immediate Shipping" the fine print shows shipping delivery is estimated between November 15th and December 4th. While the shipping window is rather large, the seller is shipping worldwide.

There is some speculation out there that has the Nokia Lumia 920 Windows Phone becoming available from AT&T on November 11, 2012.  We can't really call it a delay seeing that AT&T has never announced a date for availability.

We report this with a bit of caution in that none of our sources have confirmed the November 11th date. We still are leaning towards a November 4th release with pre-orders beginning this weekend but for now, we see this latest rumor going either way.

While the AT&T release seems to have a moving window, luckily we won't have long to wait to see which date may or may not be right.  As always, if we hear anything more concrete we'll pass it along.

Jessica Alba with Nokia Lumia 920

Jessica Alba has upgraded to the Lumia 920 and it appears as though she has gone with the red choice. We last looked at the model / actress when she was spotted sporting a cyan Lumia 900, so it seems she's been able to upgrade early, thanks to Nokia. It's clear to spot the new centred position for the headphone port, as well as the new Windows Phone logo being used.

We've seen Windows Phones in the hands of other celebrities, as well as being used in music videos and commercials, but it's good to see such a new handset handed out to those who could attract some attention.

Don't go plugging your lead into the wrong port now!

While many may write this off as 'common sense', some believe that sense really isn't all that common, especially when it comes to technology. Parts of the manuals that will be accompanying the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 have been published by WindowsMania.pl. We previously took a look at how the insides look when both Lumias have been taken apart, now we get to see both back in one piece.

Much has been said about Microsoft getting ready to release a whole bunch of new products, but it’s easy to forget that smaller markets often get left out, and don’t get anything close to the US release dates. But here’s some good news for you South African folk. You will be receiving Windows 8, and Windows Phone 8 devices in the very near future!

Test-Mobile.fr managed to get hold of the Lumia 920, Lumia 820 and compare them both to the iPhone 5. But instead of looking at design, speed, etc. the team decided to whip out a banana they brought along for lunch and test screen sensitivity on the two products. As expected, the Lumias clearly beat the iPhone 5 by a clear mile, but the banana test does work on the iPhone in certain parts, so we shouldn't rule the Apple device out completely.

Both the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 from Nokia are aesthetically pleasing on the outside, but what about on the inside? Do both Windows Phones retain their beauty with their components exposed? WindowsMania.pl has managed to publish photos of both handsets being taken apart, along with each and every component laid out to show how everything fits together to create the rich user experience.

We have previously looked at images of what the Lumia 900 looks like when torn apart, which revealed the magical kingdom of Nokia. What may (or may not) come across as a surprise is the insides of the Lumia 920 look considerably different to its older predecessor. Anyway, let's hop into it. Want to see the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 naked and vulnerable? Of course you do, head on past the break.

Nokia will be unveiling both the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 Windows Phones in Turkey, a market that has seen little marketing carried out by Microsoft and Nokia. According to promotion material, Nokia will be holding a launch event in Turkey on November 21st, which will see both Lumias launched.

While Windows Phone has literally been absent in Turkey, it's good news to hear Nokia is preparing to tap into the market and offer strong alternatives to both the iPhone and Android handsets. It'll be interesting to see if HTC will follow suite in the region, or just how successful Nokia is by the end of the year.
