Nokia is launching its hardware in Pakistan, with multiple Lumia Windows Phones heading to the market. We recently looked at the official Nokia website revealing which colours the Lumia 920 would be available in - yellow, red and grey, as well as white and black. It appears we missed mobile operator Mobilink already releasing the hardware last month. The Lumia 820 and Lumia 620 Windows Phones join the flagship in the line-up.

Not only that but the Windows Phone will be available in yellow, red, grey, black and white - quite a fair selection. This will come as a slight shock to those who are wanting to be able to purchase one of the less common variants of the device.

Consumers who reside in the Philippines are still waiting for Nokia to launch the Lumia 920. We recently covered the manufacturer opening up reservations for stores in the country, but no pricing has been made available or a date of release. We've now learnt that the Windows Phone is available to order at a local mobile phone store. CMK Cellphones has the Lumia 920 listed for 25,750 PhP ($630).

Every single one of us dislikes the branding that carriers will do to a smartphone. Putting all those logos… well it just feels sacrilegious when you have devices that push the envelope on industrial design like the HTC 8X and Lumia 920. And while AT&T may not have completely rid the Lumia 920 of their mark, they did sort of start.

We love DIY projects that use Windows Phones here at Windows Phone Central, and this project is nothing short of impressive. Almost veryone is familiar with the labyrinth puzzles you can purchase from local toy stores that task the player with tilting the maze to control the ball and reach the end of the puzzle, without dropping into any holes.

So that would make a rather cool app, right? Well, that's simply not good enough for developer Matt aka 'RogueCode' (who used to write for us and makes the awesome Ffffound app). He decided to make a DIY labyrinth puzzle that can be controlled by a Windows Phone (Lumia 920 is used in the demonstration above) and its on-board accelerometer.

I’m having a hard time recalling any extreme athlete sponsored by a smartphone company, one of you guys can clue me in on anyone below. But Nokia has done just that, they’ve picked up pro snowboarder Roope Tonteri and will join companies like Burton, Anon, and RedBull as a sponsor for the young Finn.

Both the Lumia 900 and 920 have been AT&T exclusives, leaving folks at T-Mobile and Verizon with no way to get their high-end Nokia fix. That’s about to change. Some recent FCC filings make it look like Big Red is about to pick up a variant of the Lumia 920.
