Nokia Music+ subscription now available in Russia

Nokia Music

Nokia continues to roll out its premium music subscription service across Europe and beyond, and it's now time for Russia to enjoy the added benefits of Nokia Music+. Without a massive marketed announcement, consumers have witnessed the optional upgrade being made available at an attractive price.

Nokia is offering the subscription at just 80 rubles per month ($2.50), which is slightly cheaper than what's being pushed in other markets ($3.99 in the US). The same seven day free trail is available for consumers who wish to take the service for a quick spin before parting with hard-earned cash. So what's available in the subscription? To refresh the memory:

  • Skip as many tracks as you like on the mix radio
  • Have more of your favourite mixes offline at once
  • Enjoy higher quality audio perfect for listening on your home system when streaming and downloading mix radio
  • Listen everywhere - PC, laptop, Mac (offline playback)
  • Get lyrics for the track you're listening and sing your socks off

Not a bad deal at all, especially if you're already using the service. You can activate the trial or open up the subscription by heading into the settings area of the Nokia Music app for Windows Phone.

Nokia Music+ subscription now available in Russia

I've heard a lot of great things about Nokia music plus... Kind of bummed out that we can't get it in Canada. Had slacker, but that app is just awful. Xbox music is good, but isn't so great for new music discovery.

Works great in Canada just not with a Canadian region code set on the device. I'd much rather change that then be held hostage by the music industry and their petty ways. Btw music + also working great in the great white north also even on the MacBook Air and ipad.

If you listen to Metal / Rock Nokia music is weak. Xbox music has a lot wider selection. Can't speak for other types of music though.

Don't underestimate Russia! Illegal mp3 sites? What's that for?
No one uses those 'cause illegal music sharing is fully enabled in the largest Russian social network! 43 million daily users. Although 3G sucks over here.

Well this is all true but no mp3 hosting will not provide you with thematic playlists. I still think that Pandora's choice it a bit better than Nokia's, but Nokia Music is very good over all.
I was waiting for Music+, and I am glad its finally here.
