Official Qantas app takes flight with new version; sporting bug fixes and improvements

The official Qantas app has been bumped to version 1.2, fixing some bugs and adding improvements for customers of the Australian airline to take full advantage of. There's nothing worse than experiencing issues when attempting to use an app. Best of all, we previously looked at how gorgeous this official offering is. We've also been informed that lock screen support is now featured, showing the boarding pass.

Among the fixes is the correction of check-in errors. It's well worth checking out if you fly with the airline with saving boarding passes on the app for more convenient access, browsing times, as well as viewing collected points. You can download Qantas from the Windows Phone Store for free. Thanks, Andy, for the tip!

Oh, maybe similar to the car apps in the last day we'll see a big push for airlines, too! come on Southwest!

Oh, I forgot we had that.. Cool.. Official❕... For some reason I feel as though when WP get the official McDonald's app that it's going to add much credibility to the platform.. That and Target, WalMart, and other mainstream outlets that have failed to recognize WP... But, I know that when my credit union "Fort Worth Community Credit Union"" makes a WP app the app gap will officially be closed.. After that I will go against anyone who say's that apps are a issue on WP...
