Reminder: All Liquid Daffodil apps now freely available through June 8th

WP Central

Liquid Daffodil arranged with Windows Phone Central for their apps to be made available for free until June 7th. We published an announcement yesterday, but banked on Microsoft carrying out the pricing alterations in a speedy manner. Unfortunately this never occurred and we were left with only two of the four apps updating to reflect the 'free' price tag.

We're now happy to announce, along with the developer, that all four apps are now free and have been confirmed in multiple markets. The time has been extended an extra 24 hours due to the confusion. Please find the links and QR codes below to take advantage of this offer. The deal for all four listed apps ends on June 8th when original prices will be reinstated. We apologise for the confusion this may have caused.

A big thank you to Scott Peterson and company for enabling this offer! QR codes after the break...

I had purchased gleek about two weeks ago. I know other Twitter clients are spoken highly of on here. But to me, gleek is just an amazing looking app. Along with the USA Today app, probably uses the Metro UI as well as anyone.
And its fun to use. Haven't  used the OS or official app since.

Just installed all the apps, great developer. Does anyone else realize that fans of the show Glee on Fox are called "gleeks". Unless that's what they were trying to do. Now you know.

Codesmith says:

Well, of course we do, but a "gleek" is a real term and has nothing to do with the overrated show my kids love! According to the Urban Dictionary: gleek, verb: "building up saliva in the salivary glands using some stimulus, like sour food or yawning, and then pressing the tongue upon the glands, causing the saliva to shoot out, usually at an impressive distance."
But tehnically, the app is pronounced "gl-uh-uu-k" as it uses "schwas" and not the letter 'e'.
But of course since it's an awesome app, that's all just for fun! :)

Very well designed apps.  I love this developer and just downloaded the only 2 apps from them I did not already purchase.

Could someone please explain to me what I'm a WP7 is for?  I've looked at it several times now to try and figure it out.  Near as I can tell it's a clunky and convoluted framework for information that can be obtained 1000 times faster via websearch, coupled with some weird ranking system that serves no purpose whatever.
Yet people seem to love it.  I feel I'm missing something.

Also, as I'm trying to figure things out, why do the titles on the tiles of the Gleek start page disappear every few seconds?  It's annoying enough that they move around, but when they vanish you're stuck waiting for them to come back so you can tell what you need to tap to do anything.  Stupid, stupid design.

Hix, I missed it
