Samsung ATIV S available for £229.99 at Expansys UK

Expansys has dropped the price of the Samsung ATIV S once again, but this time we're looking at just £229.99 for the Windows Phone 8 device. If you're seeking a high-end option as your next smartphone, this is a perfect opportunity to choose a mobile phone with exciting features and areas of expansion.

To recap on what specifications we're talking about, the ATIV S sports a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display, dual-core 1.5GHz CPU, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage (with SD slot), 8MP shooter (with 1.9 FFC), NFC and a 2,300mAh battery. Not too bad. Be sure to check out our ATIV S review before purchasing.

Got mine off ebay new, and enjoy how thin it is, very responsive and great 4.8" screen. Wish it was on one of the 3 big carriers here in US.

Bigsro says:

Careful in the UK chaps, Expansys ship the EU variant and its playing havoc with my apn settings (Three UK)

I've not had any problems with my Orange SIM

Bigsro says:

Yep its just on Three as far as I can tell..
Their tech support is a joke...

Bekkenes says:

I bought mine in Norway for 200£, unlocked. :) (with prepaid card I just removed )

Bummer for you then, because now they're selling it for half that, as in £100, yes you heard me correctly, £100 (or NOK999 to be exact), with the same prepaid card (which you can toss if you have any of Telenor's subscriptions already). Best offer ever ...

If I purchased this on Ebay, and unlocked it... Could it work on T-Mobile USA?

cannon#WP says:

Yea, it should work on both AT&T and T-Mobile, though there is no LTE chip in it.

Musicman247 says:

It would work on AT&T and in refarmed areas of T-mobile (1900 band only, not 1700) for HSPA+, but Edge data would work everywhere.

tbonenga says:

There is version that works on T-Mobile (T 889) but it's $689

KasakDesign says:

Good question. I want one.

Thats a good price unlocked! I would be tempet to just buy a Lumia 920 from EE though, out of contract they are only £260 now.

Fndlumia says:

Do it you won't regret it, awesome phone the 920

WPhoton says:

250€ is my limit for a new phone right now. I'm waiting to price to drop a litle bit more...
BTW anyone has any problems with it (except for Nokia exclusives)? Or is it perfect? How much time does the battery lasts?

Mankku says:

Battery lasts long, in two days using it moderatly. Had the Ativ S since january, no bugs, hang ups, battery still as good as new. I recommend it.

zacman says:

Ativ s 16gb unlocked is available in Germany for 230€. Check marketplace offers.

Fndlumia says:

And full suite of Nokia apps

DavidinCT says:

Man, if this worked on Verizon LTE and CDMA, I would buy it in a heartbeat...Maybe even trade my Lumia 928 for it...

Smg-Uk says:

Had mine a couple of weeks love it prefer it even over the 920 and 8x I had.

Rafig says:

gsmnation have the t889 for $499 and it works on tmobile lte
