Shoot 1UP developer announces Windows Phone skin giveaway
This Shoot1UP skin can be yours
Remember that picture of an LG Quantum wearing a Shoot 1UP skin that we included in our interview with Shoot 1UP developer Mommy’s Best Games over the weekend? Of course you do, because you’re cool like that. And if you also happen to be inquisitive, you might’ve wondered how you could get a skin like that for your own phone.
As it turns out, Mommy’s Best Games is giving away three of the skins in question in a contest that runs throughout the week. The skin you win doesn’t need to be for a Quantum, either – it can be any Windows Phone (or even *blech* non-Windows Phones). Head past the break for more details!
The prizes come from SkinIt.com and are made of high-quality vinyl, the bestest kind of vinyl, and cover both sides of a phone. They depict a scene from Shoot 1UP’s first level in which the player’s ship valiantly battles against overwhelming odds. Few stickers could make your phone look tougher.
How to enter
For even more entries, correctly answer Shoot 1UP trivia questions. You can find the first and easiest batch of queries here. Why, the answers to all three are contained within the body of Windows Phone Central’s review of the game – now that’s easy. Each day throughout the week, MBG will add new and more challenging questions.
The contest is open worldwide, provided shipping costs to your country aren’t prohibitively expensive and/or your country’s customs department isn’t black-heartedly corrupt (sorry Italy).
Shoot 1UP is a vertically-scrolling bullet hell shoot-em-up that originated as an Xbox 360 indie game before graduating to Xbox Live status on Windows Phone. It features the unique ability to control up to 30 ships at once and a wonderfully weird art style.
