Sprint announces 30-day trial for new customers

Sprint announces 30-day trial for new customers

Sprint has announced a new trial program for their network. Sprint will be giving a full refund to customers who aren't satisfied with their Sprint service within the first 30 days. Specifically, Sprint will refund customers the cost of the device, and all activation and service fees will be waived.

Sprint will begin this program this Friday, June 27. It will be available to new customers in Sprint stores, over the phone, and online. Much like T-Mobile's recently announced 'Test Drive' program, Sprint's trial is a way for customers to try a different network with minimal risk. Unlike Test Drive, Sprint's trial lasts for 30 day, though it seems that customers will need to buy their device from Sprint, though as mentioned above, it is refunded if you are not satisfied with your service.

Will you be giving Sprint's trial a shot? Tell us below in the comments.

Trail, or trial

Either way it's not worth it.

Too little too late for sprint...

Ditto... I sprinted on over to TMO where we at least have a workable relationship! Lol!

You do realize Sprint is in the process of buying T-Mobile? So, you may end up right where you started... ^_~

Oh, I have the freedom to go as I please...ive never been a contract customer, so its not hard to switch until I find what works for me. :) But, to be technical, Softbank is petitioning to purchase the majority ownership in Tmobile, so its not like they are merging companies (yet). I don't see it as an actual merger like att and cricket where the networks become the same network. I still see them being as 2 separate companies for now...who knows what the future holds. :)

Hahahahahaha... They change it within a minute..

Spelling error in the header.

I will never go back to Sprint. They had their chance with me and they messed up.

Didn't T-Mobile just announce the same thing a few days ago?

In the article...I'm not being rude, but does it seem reasonable to read such a small article before commenting to the WP world?

Not quite. T-Mobile is offering people the chance to test drive the iPhone 5S for a week. Not quite the same thing.

Or maybe peg leg was thinking of the free music streaming...

Isn't sprint and t mobile merging?

Hopefully not. I know I'm counting on the DoJ and FCC to step up and kill it. Happy T-Mobile customer here and I want it to STAY that way!

Amen! This deal needs to go away NOW!! I had Sprint for two years, horrible service, barely had reception wherever I went; sadly my parents still have Sprint they can't use their phones at their house.

Sounds just like a friend of mine. He's been on Sprint for years and barely ever gets reception in his house. Unbelievable!

It's in the works..we have to wait and see what happens...

I'm for it if only ..

0) John J. Legere

1) they go GSM..

2) they lower the prices enough to scare the crap out of Verizon and AT&T..

3) AND THEY GET alot OF WINDOWS PHONES :)

We'll if 1 comes true then 3 should be no problem minus tmoble"s slight frequency difference & the uma coverage
