For those looking to pick up the Surface RT tablet your local Costco’s (Costco.com) may be the place to look. Yup, in addition to the Microsoft Store, Best Buy and Staples, the Surface is now listed in upcoming inventory for Costco’s (see image below) including the RT’s various options for purchases.

Users will have their choice of 32GB RT tablet without Touch cover ($499), which is the norm for that SKU but the real deal comes in the “packages” where the Touch cover is included.

The other day we covered Costco selling the Lumia 710 (review) for a pretty great price, specifically $0.01 on contract. The fine print also revealed at the time that the "retail price" was $269.99, which is a lot cheaper than the $350 most other places are offering it for.

Now we have an inventory screen shot showing that the 710 will be sold at select Costco brick-n-mortar stores (your guess is as good as ours as to which ones) for that very low price of $269.99. That's a heck of  a deal for an off-contract phone, especially for that Nokia-quality. In addition, you can expect a free carrying case and a car charger.

Downside? Well, besides limited store-availability, you can only get black. And while black is kewl, we prefer the white one ourselves just to be a bit different.  Hopefully if you're in the market for a new phone, you'll be able to find one of these stores offering this deal.

Thanks, Peter M., for the info!

A penny for your thoughts? How about for a T-Mobile Lumia 710? We've seen some nice deals on the latest Windows Phone to hit T-Mobile's shelves. Wal-Mart is offering the Lumia 710 for free on-line, T-Mobile is selling the 710 for $49.99 and now Costco is offering the 4G Windows Phone for a penny.  They are only listing the black model with no indication if the white model will become available at a later date.

Pricing is after the customary two year contractual discounts and a qualifying data plan.   Not too shabby of a price for a very nice, entry level Windows Phone.

Thanks, Anthony, for the tip!

The AT&T HTC Titan is slated to launch in the next few days, specifically this Sunday, November 20th for $199. While the AT&T price ain't bad for such a massive phone, you just know somebody like Costco will be able to under cut that a bit.

And if you're like us, you enjoy buying massive things in bulk. The good news is Costco's will be offering the Titan right quick on November 23rd, presumably for a cheaper price (and we hear better return policy, though it's been ages for us). But if you were planning on getting the huge 4.7" inch Windows Phone 7.5 device and you have a Costco membership, you may want to hold off a few days till you hear what their offering will be.

Thanks, anon, for the pic!

More Verizon news. Relax, this isn't another wild Verizon Trophy rumour, well... not so much. Costco is apparently stocking the device with the above capture from the warehouse stock system. The device will plan to be sold at the price tag of $149.99 (contract), while Best Buy will sell it without contract for $599.

Today's the 19th everyone, one of the rumoured dates, just to further hype the wait. Still excited, or have you become extremely frustrated?
