The highest rated phone on Sprint is...

The HTC Arrive, one of our trusty go to devices on Windows Phone especially for you physical-keyboard lovers, never got too popular despite its uniqueness. The phone is a bit thick and sort of lacks that ‘sex appeal’ that Nokia or Apple bring to the market yet it’s still a darn good device despite its age and lack of updates.

Looking over Sprint’s customer ratings though, the device comes out on top with 89% of customers recommending the phone (from 402 reviews). Here’s how the Arrive ranks compared to the competition...

As well as Nokia shifting almost 4m Lumia handsets in Q2, it would seem there is yet more good news for our Windows Phone. If true, as a recent survey by Amplified Analytics is showing, and there is a 18% rise in customer satisfaction then things are looking rosy indeed. The survey carried out by aggregating over 104,691 customer reviews suggests that the Windows Phone users are almost 20% more chuffed with their recent purchase than in the previous quarter.

Drilling into the details it seems that the current Windows Phone darling, the Lumia 900 seems to be wiping the floor with the other OS satisfaction results in some areas. Depending on how you read into these bar graphs, the Lumia owners are more than happy with the OS. The same seems to be echoed in the results for the design also.

File this under old news but good news but T-Mobile is pleased as punch with the companies selection of Windows Phone. Since adding the HTC Radar 4G and Nokia Lumia 710, T-Mobile has seen sales of Windows Phone double in the past eight months.

Brad Duea, Senior Vice President of Product Development at T-Mobile, comments,

"We continue to see strong sales and adoption of the platform with the Nokia Lumia 710 consistently being one of our top five selling smartphones since it launched in January 2012. Not only that but, as expected, we’ve seen a large number of first-time smartphone users select a Windows Phone as their device of choice with 55% of all upgrades to the Lumia 710 coming from a messaging or feature phone."

According to T-Mobile the Lumia 710 has some of the highest handset satisfaction scores and feedback from customers has been very positive on Windows Phone software. With regards to the future of Windows Phones at T-Mobile Duea notes,

"We’re bullish on the future of Windows Phone. In fact, IDC’s report out earlier this month predicts Windows Phone will surpass iOS by 2016 – and we expect Windows Phone to continue to play a prominent role in our product portfolio and marketing efforts."

T-Mobile is slated to be a launch partner for Windows Phone 8 later this fall. Maybe we'll see more of Carly carrying a Windows Phone in the future.

Nokia has begun sending out email notifications to the first 500 Lumia 900 Windows Phone owners who put their name down to submit feedback on the product experience. The lucky 500 will receive a $50 Amazon gift card as a thank you for filling in a minimum of three web surveys.

Should you have been lucky enough to get your form in before the entry limit was surpassed, you will be receiving the following email in your inbox:

"Hi *NAME*,

Congratulations! You are among the first 500 eligible participants and we can now confirm that you are in.

As a reminder, participation in the study involves responding to three mandatory web surveys which will be sent out within approximately 6 weeks. After responding to the three surveys you'll get the gift card as a thank you for your time.

Please use the phone as you normally would, we don't expect you to be an expert user. We are interested in what you think, so respond to all questions based on your personal experience and feelings.

Start with the first mandatory survey by clicking this link.

Once all participants have completed the required number of web forms for Nokia they will receive the Amazon gift card. It's good to see Nokia taking owner feedback into account for future products.

Thanks everyone who tipped us!

It shouldn't come as a big surprise but owners of the Nokia Lumia 710 are delighted with their Windows Phone. If there was doubt, we now have a customer survey to prove it.

Argus Insights, a leader in product innovation analytics, has released the results of a customer satisfaction survey that places satisfaction and delight with the Nokia Lumia 710 ahead of the iPhone 4S, Motorola Droid RAZR 4G and competitive with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Argus believes that the lower priced Lumia 710 pushed consumers who were waiting for a lower priced smartphone off the fence.

The survey results took into consideration responses on such issues as connectivity, quality/reliability, usability, display, speed/performance and functionality.  All of which reflected overwhelming positive comments on the 710.

It would appear that consumers, based on Argus's findings, see the Lumia 710 as giving them the biggest bang for their buck.
